Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Facility may call off once per pay period (2-week period).

- Work in a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Very high-risk Labor and Delivery unit caring for complex pregnancy diagnoses including pre-eclampsia, multiples, fetal anomalies, preterm labor, and diabetes
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Free parking provided
- Orientation: 72 hours
- 13-week assignment (91 days)

Requirements:\n
- \n
- Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
- Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (required), AWHONN Advanced (preferred). NCC EFM certification accepted in place of Intermediate AWHONN
- Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections
- Proficiency in all required skills including assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, D&C, cervical cerclage, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, EFM, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- LA fire card within the last 30 days required
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
