Paraprofessionals and Instructional Aides are needed for contract opportunities supporting elementary students in a warm and welcoming environment north of San Francisco. Multiple full-time roles are available, with placements across several elementary school sites. Take on a varied and meaningful position working with students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, making a daily impact in vibrant classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with instruction, classroom management, and student supervision
- Support students’ day-to-day activities and foster a positive classroom environment
- Provide individual or small group assistance to help students with academic and social tasks
- Aid with the needs of younger children or students requiring support, including toileting and diapering as needed
- Communicate effectively with teaching teams and help develop strategies to support student success
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students throughout the school day
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or similar classroom support role preferred
- Comfortable and willing to assist with all aspects of student care, including toileting/diapering for younger students
- Familiarity with general education classroom settings across elementary grades
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students and staff
- Must complete paraprofessional training prior to start date
- Reliable transportation and open to commute considerations (please consider toll route if applicable)
