Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid, current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working within school settings, effectively supporting diverse student populations.
- Ability to perform speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in California for Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services.
- Implement evidence-based therapy and interventions tailored to specific student needs across elementary, middle, or high school levels.
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support each child’s learning objectives.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offer expertise, and advocate for students’ speech and language development.
- Consult with classroom staff, offering strategies to integrate speech/language goals within daily instruction.
