Started from the ground up by an engineer and a chemist, Beaker & Wrench is celebrating its 9th year in business in 2026.
We are looking for an experienced Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician with attention to detail and a passion for high quality work to build our industrial processing equipment. The person in this role will join our skilled technical staff and will be required to work on-site Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm. This position is hands-on, and requires a self starter with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality capital processing equipment to include: sanitary plumbing, motorized fluid and vacuum pumps, temperature controllers, wiring harnesses with soldered or crimped connections, and electrical control panels.
  • Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings as well as electrical and piping schematics.
  • Provide attention to detail and follow all Quality Control requirements and checks so that all equipment that leaves the facility meets the high standards our customers have come to expect.
  • Follow SOPs to properly document manufacturing orders within the companies ERP system to ensure proper accounting for serialized and non-serialized inventory usage.
  • Keep the work area clean and all tools and supplies organized.
  • Ensure work is done safely and follows all OSHA and other safety standards.
  • Create, follow and help maintain Work Instructions (SOPs) related to Assembly and Build Procedures.
  • Knowledge and skill with industrial tools including water-jet cutter, saws, drills, wire strippers, soldering equipment, crimpers, grinders, plasma cutters, engraving tools, labeling tools, multimeters, and other basic hand tools.
  • Work and coordinate with other members of the team to help maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Take on additional duties as needed by the team.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma, associate’s degree, or trade school preferred.
  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience required, panel building experience highly desired.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
