Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students across two dynamic school sites in the Gilroy, CA area! This full-time, onsite position is perfect for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the educational experience of young learners. You'll have the chance to collaborate with educators and families while helping students reach important developmental milestones.

As you guide a caseload of over 38 students, plus additional consults, you’ll contribute to shaping individualized support strategies that foster independence and success in school. This position runs from August 5, 2026, through June 2, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to see meaningful growth over the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active state OT license
  • Expertise in providing occupational therapy within school settings
  • Experience working with K-8 students
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, multi-site environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to assigned students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
  • Complete evaluations, progress reports, and student documentation
  • Provide consultative support for additional student needs
  • Travel between two onsite locations as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
