Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of datacenter interconnect system solutions for next-generation AI and hyperscale infrastructure.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of:

•\tSystem architecture (microLED interconnects, photonics, packaging)

•\tCustomer engagement and technical marketing

•\tProgram execution and R&D delivery

You will serve as the critical bridge between customers, ecosystem partners, and internal R&D teams, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into system-level solutions and delivered as working prototypes, samples, and product-ready technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•\tEngage directly with hyperscalers, OEMs, and ecosystem partners to understand datacenter interconnect requirements and system architectures

•\tCommunicate effectively with customer technical and business stakeholders at a peer level

•\tTranslate customer use cases into clear system requirements, specifications, and success criteria

•\tDevelop system-level understanding of chip-to-chip, board-level, and rack-to-rack interconnect architectures

•\tDrive trade-offs across performance, power, cost, scalability, and manufacturability

•\tWork closely with photonics, semiconductor, and packaging teams to define end-to-end system solutions

•\tOwn end-to-end execution of customer programs, from initial engagement through sample/prototype delivery and validation

•\tDrive alignment across R&D, engineering, operations, and leadership to meet customer timelines and deliverables

•\tTrack milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent programs

•\tProvide structured feedback from customers to influence product roadmap and prioritization

Requirements

•\tB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Photonics, or related

•\t8+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or product engineering in semiconductors, photonics, or related industries

•\tStrong understanding of datacenter interconnect systems, semiconductor technologies, or photonics-based solutions.

•\tExperience with microLED, optical interconnects, co-packaged optics, or advanced packaging technologies

•\tProven experience managing cross-functional technical programs and delivering complex system-level outputs

•\tAbility to translate customer requirements into engineering execution plans

•\tDemonstrated ability to influence and guide R&D teams without direct authority

•\tStrong communication skills across both technical and business audiences

•\tExperience working directly with customers in a technical capacity

Nice to have

•\tExperience with early-stage or deep-tech products

•\tFamiliarity with AI datacenter architectures and scaling challenges

•\tExperience delivering customer prototypes or early-stage technology samples

•\tBackground in technical marketing or customer solutions roles

•\tExperience in startup or deep-tech environments

•\tMBA or business background is a plus
