Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports the Materials department by receiving incoming products, managing inventory, and pulling materials for production and shipping. This role ensures accurate material flow, maintains organized stockroom operations, and supports timely production and delivery within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials, quantities, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Transfer items to the stockroom and ensure they are properly labeled, stored, and organized.
- Pull materials accurately for production work orders and distribution sales orders.
- Issue materials to jobs in a timely and precise manner to support production schedules.
- Perform regular cycle counts and support physical inventory activities to maintain accurate stock records.
- Reconcile materials returned from completed work orders and update inventory records accordingly.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient workflow throughout the stockroom and storage areas.
- Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or issues promptly to Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other relevant departments.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to inventory management and material-handling processes.
- Transport materials safely throughout the facility using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Use internal systems such as Google Enterprise, BambooHR, and Paycom/ADP for reporting, documentation, and inventory transactions.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while handling, storing, and moving materials.
Work Environment
This position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role is based in an industrial manufacturing environment that is not temperature controlled, so conditions can be hot or cold depending on the season.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
