Journey level SPECIAL PROJECTS electrician.
We are Sacramento based commercial electrical contractor founded in 1990 with a great reputation of getting the job done. We do everything from ground up, to service and repair. We are currently looking for well rounded Journeymen to become an integral part of our special projects division / service team. We have a long list of national and local clients, including several major banks, insurance companies, commercial property management companies and a variety of church organizations that we regularly service. No on call emergency work, residential service or upselling required. The majority of our work is local but some out of town work is to be expected.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE REGULARLY REQUIRES THAT YOU WORK ALONE SO YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AUTONOMOUSLY AS WELL AS WITH A PART OF A TEAM. THIS TEAM NORMALLY WORKS STANDARD DAYTIME HOURS BUT THERE ARE OFTEN TIMES WHEN YOU HAVE TO WORK NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS WHICH PAYS EXTRA.
Being a Certified Journeyman is an advantage as some of our special projects require prevailing wage pay scale.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must hold at least an ET card if not a Certified Journeyman License issued by the State of California
-Must have thorough knowledge and a strong understanding of the NEC
-Must have experience with working on commercial projects
-Responsible for submitting paperwork on time
-Must be able to accurately read and interpret electrical blueprints for proper installation
-Must have a reasonably good driving record to be able to drive a company vehicle
-Responsible for possessing all necessary hand tools and have reliable transportation
-Must be able to work overtime or off hours when necessary
-Must have knowledge of word processing and internet software
