About the Role:
Join Metal Specialties as a Metal Fabricator. In this role, you'll be crafting high-quality metalwork on innovative residential projects, while working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication.
- Operate various metalworking machinery, including handtools and welders.
- Collaborate with detailers and other team members to optimize production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
- Prepare and finish metal surfaces for assembly and installation.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator or in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years. REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Clean Driving Record
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
