Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support their efforts in obtaining NRL pharmacy permits in Illinois and Massachusetts. This temporary contract opportunity requires a licensed PIC in either California, Illinois, or Massachusetts to fulfill regulatory requirements for permit approval. The role will operate primarily during daytime weekday hours in a specialty compounding environment, providing critical oversight and compliance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for state licensing compliance
  • Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and specialty compounding standards
  • Maintain pharmacy permit requirements for states of licensure (CA, IL, MA, or OH as applicable)
  • Support operational processes with regulatory focus
  • Work onsite at designated specialty pharmacy locations based on licensure

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in California, Illinois, or Massachusetts (required)
  • Willingness to hang license as PIC for 13-week assignment
  • Experience with specialty compounding practices preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state pharmacy regulations and permitting
  • Ability to work onsite and maintain scheduled hours

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Hours vary by license/state location requirement:• CA licensed: 30 hours/week onsite at California specialty pharmacy• MA/OH licensed: 30 hours/week onsite in Dublin, OH• OH/IL licensed: 8 hours/week onsite in Dublin, OH

Location:This role requires physical presence at specialty compounding pharmacy sites in California or Ohio, depending on licensure and assignment.

This position is a 13-week contract.
