About the Position
In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting parts to ensure that they meet quality standards. Our ideal candidate is extremely meticulous and detail-oriented. The inspection responsibilities use magnifiers and optical inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect lenses for quality defects.
Perform measurements using calibrated tools such as calipers.
Assemble products when required.
Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings to understand product specifications.
Implement sample rate inspection to ensure product quality.
Adhere to and promote our ISO9001 quality management system.

Minimum Requirements

High school degree and authorized to work in the US.
Punctual and reliable.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Meticulous and efficient approach to work.
Ability to learn new precision measurement tools.
Knowledge of how to use a computer.

Skills/Experience that will help your application:

1-2 years of experience in a laboratory technician, quality inspector, or other similar job.
Steady hands and experience building intricate parts (jewelry, models, etc..)
Past experience using calipers
Knowledge of how to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management procedures.
Experience working in a small business.

This job requires being in-person at our facility during the first daytime shift.
