Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is now open for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students for the full 2026-2027 school year. Starting August 11, 2026, you’ll make a meaningful impact as a full-time SLP serving students in a collaborative, onsite environment near scenic Napa, California.

This contract role offers a diverse caseload and the chance to work with Special Day Classes ranging from Intensive to Mild/Moderate needs across multiple age groups. You’ll provide in-person services at one or two sites, depending on assignment, with caseloads including but not limited to high school, post-secondary, middle school, elementary, and TK-5 Mild/Moderate programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathology certification/license in California (SLP-CCC or eligible)
  • Previous experience in school settings or with special needs populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), onsite only
  • Flexibility to work at one or two school sites as required by the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct SLP services in compliance with IEP plans for Special Day Class students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and family consultations
  • Conduct assessments, maintain records, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Contribute to adaptive communication strategies for varied levels of intensity and age groups
