Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at a facility in Downey, California. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $30 / hour

Shifts Available:

  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week as needed
  • 8 hours
  • Days

Nursing Specialty:

  • LVN

Qualifications:

  • Ensure that profiles are submitted only for LVNs who are fully committed to working a per diem assignment.
  • Required certifications include active Licensed Vocational Nurse license, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City) and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

Assignment Information:

Is currently in need of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a minimum of 2 recent years of working with homeless community experience as an LVN LVN will be performing nursing intake, discharge, charting, blood draw, specimen processing. vaccine/medication administration, performing and maintaining point of care and quality controls, medication inventory, medical supply inventory, driving to/from clinic drop sites or patients, medication pick up, coordinating with outreach staff, behavioral health, and taking direction from lead Registered Nurse (RN) as per scope. The LVN is expected to be able to see up to 15-20 patients daily with the provider and is 1 of 2 nursing staff dedicated to working within two service planning areas within Los Angeles County.
