Job DescriptionThe Produce Clerk at Mother’s Market is responsible for maintaining fresh, high-quality produce displays while delivering exceptional customer service. Produce Clerks are ambassadors of Mother’s Market’s commitment to health and wellness, ensuring that fruits and vegetables are handled with care and presented beautifully to create an inviting shopping experience for every guest. Wage Range: $18-$24/hourBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, & in-store discounts Key Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays to company standards
• Ensure proper product rotation, freshness, and quality control
• Assist customers with produce selection, product questions, and meal ideas
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the produce department
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership
• Remove damaged, expired, or unsellable items promptly
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and food-handling standards
• Promote Mother’s Market values, including wellness, sustainability, and community
• Work collaboratively with team members to support overall store operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous produce, grocery, or retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift

• Exposure to cold temperatures (refrigeration and produce prep areas)
