Position Details:
- Job Title: Triage Medical Assistant
- Department: Women's Health
- Location: Sacramento, CA
- Pay: $25.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain medical histories, record vitals, and support clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, procedures, and follow-up care
- Process prior authorizations for medications, imaging, labs, and specialty services
- Manage patient recalls for preventive screenings such as Pap smears and mammograms
- Support triage functions, patient communications, and departmental phone calls
- Document patient interactions and care coordination activities within the EMR
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, pharmacies, and insurance representatives to ensure timely patient care
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant training/certification preferred
- Previous Women's Health experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
