Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent education/experience
1+ year of recent scheduling, clerical, dispatch, call center, or healthcare administrative experience
Experience coordinating high-volume schedules with rapidly changing priorities
Ability to schedule next-day patient visits based on clinician coverage, productivity, and drive time
Experience responding to same-day visit requests, hospital discharges, and new referrals
Experience coordinating with patients, families, physicians’ offices, clinicians, and internal departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to protect PHI and follow privacy, safety, regulatory, and department procedures
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an interrupted environment
