Personal Trainer for Adults with Developmental Disabilities - Newbury Park

Your Responsibilities

Demonstrate and teach proper exercise techniques

Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation

Collaborate with participants and colleagues on personalized workout plans

Motivate participants to reach fitness goals in a fun and safe manner

Assist Yoga classes

Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation
Who We’re Looking For
-
Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset
-
Someone who is encouraging, able to guide, and support participants in a respectful manner
-
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
-
CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)
-
Certified by : NASM, ACSM, ACE, or NSCA (required)

Knowledge of anatomy & physiology, functional exercises, and basic nutrition.

Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)
Note: This role requires the ability to move and lift up 35 Ibs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time.

Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour, Internships are available
