Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting school communities in the greater Corona and Rancho Cucamonga, CA area as a credentialed school psychologist covering a maternity leave. This contract opportunity offers a unique 60% itinerant schedule—equivalent to three full workdays each week—with the flexibility to select which days you work. Working hours run from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, allowing for meaningful engagement during the school day while maintaining work-life balance. Compensation is between $47 and $57 per hour, commensurate with your experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid school psychologist credential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of continuous work in school environments
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions as needed
- Contribute to a positive, supportive school climate
- Participate in team meetings and provide crisis intervention when necessary
