Job Summary
A growing electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing environment is seeking a QC or QA Tech for a swing shift opportunity in San Jose, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional with hands-on experience inspecting PCBAs, conformal coated boards, and electronics manufacturing workmanship against IPC standards.
The QC or QA Tech will play an important role in supporting product quality, preventing defects, and ensuring customer requirements are consistently met. Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and audits on incoming PCBAs, in-process materials, and finished conformal coated PCBAs.
- Inspect workmanship using visual inspection methods, measuring tools, inspection aids, and applicable quality standards.
- Verify product conformance to drawings, specifications, work instructions, customer requirements, and IPC-A-610 acceptability standards.
- Accurately document inspection results, quality findings, traceability information, and nonconforming material details.
- Communicate quality concerns with quality engineering for review, disposition, and escalation.
- Inspect incoming boards and materials after pack-out to help prevent nonconforming material from entering the coating process.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Swing shift, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Location: San Jose, CA.
