Job DescriptionSenior Paralegal (In-House)
Location: Southern California (Primarily Remote with occasional onsite in Del Mar, Newport Beach, and San Diego)
Salary: $38-$48/hour DOE
A growing real estate asset and property management company is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support its in-house legal team. This role offers a mix of corporate governance, real estate, contracts, HR support, and litigation coordination in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain corporate records, entity filings, and governance documentation
- Draft resolutions, consents, and corporate documents
- Support real estate transactions (leases, acquisitions, due diligence)
- Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and manage discovery
- Draft and revise contracts, leases, SOPs, and HR-related documents
- Track compliance requirements (permits, licenses, regulatory changes)
- Manage legal calendars, deadlines, and departmental workflows
- Conduct legal research and provide general legal support
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal experience (law firm or in-house)
- Strong corporate governance experience required (CA entities, LLCs, partnerships)
- Experience with real estate transactions and terminology
- Understanding of litigation processes (discovery, subpoenas, coordination)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe; strong document editing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience supporting employment/HR matters
- Background in real estate, property management, or related industry
- Experience with SharePoint or similar document management systems
