School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time | Norwalk, CA | 2026-2027 School Year
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students within a school district in the Norwalk, California area for the 2026-2027 school year.
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills necessary to participate successfully in their educational environment. This is a full-time opportunity offering a consistent school schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and functional success.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on educational needs
Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to promote student success
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state regulations
Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and strategies to support student participation in the classroom
Qualifications:
Active California Occupational Therapist License
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation
