Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated machine operator to set up and operate various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools. The primary tasks involve deburring, slotting, drilling, and cutting aluminum metal. The first shift focuses on deburring and operator tasks, while the second shift requires more experience as a CNC operator.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines and equipment to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metal.
- Operate hand tools and pneumatic tools effectively.
- Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system.
- Read and understand manufacturing orders.
- Use and read various types of measuring equipment.
- Operate hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability.
Essential Skills
- Experience in machine operation and general labor.
- Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery.
- Experience with deburring, cutting metal, saw operation, milling machine, and CNC mill.
- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a machine shop environment is preferred.
- Ability to work as required and adapt to different tasks.

Work Environment
The work environment requires adherence to safety standards, including wearing safety glasses or goggles meeting ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirements and footwear that meets ANSI Z41 standards with steel or composite toes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
