Summary:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day execution of food and beverage operations at PSQ Productions events. This role deploys, supervises, trains, and coaches F&B staff across all positions - including bars, beer stands, and food service areas - ensuring excellent guest service, adherence to company standards, and compliance with California Labor Laws and health and safety regulations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure efficient deployment of event staff to designated areas.
  • Supervise and train food and beverage staff across all positions, ensuring excellent service and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and track rest and meal break in compliance with California Labor Laws.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of bars, beer stands, and food service areas as needed, ensuring proper arrangement and presentation
  • Promptly respond to calls involving guest concerns, medical incidents, or safety issues, and manage complaints with professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and adhering to the policies, procedures, and regulations of various venues, facilities, and events.
  • Utilize event technology and POS systems to support operations, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Manage administrative paperwork including timesheets, break schedules, required reporting, and Workers' Compensation documentation for employee injuries.
  • Support operational administration by maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor and as business dictates

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Prepare and issue written disciplinary documentation as necessary.
  • Must maintain active Food Handler's Card (FHC) and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Cert.
  • Previous supervisor experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, preferably in the events.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of quality and cleanliness.
