We are the heartbeat of the Lake Tahoe creative community, showcasing original works and one of a kind treasures from over 100 incredible local and unique artists. We are looking for a vibrant, high-energy Team Leader who loves people, thrives on the energy of a bustling showroom floor, and wants to drive the success of both our physical gallery and diverse online presence.
This is not a desk job. It is a high-visibility, dynamic leadership position. You will spend your days active on the floor, leading by example, coaching our staff, and building authentic connections with locals and visitors alike. You will directly manage our team of retail and online associates, shape our visual merchandising, and serve as the driving force behind our store's daily growth and profitability.
General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Operations & Retail Excellence
- Retail Proficiency: Extensive experience thriving in high-traffic, fast-paced, and high-pressure retail environments.
- Visual Merchandising: Keen instincts for visual merchandising to optimize store presentation and sales.
- Resource Management: Exceptional organizational skills and highly effective time management.

Communication & Customer Service
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.

Financial & Technical Skills

- Manage staff relations by effectively resolving internal conflicts, complaints, and performance issues.
- Direct visual merchandising to ensure the gallery maintains an elevated and appealing presentation.
