Luxury Event/Wedding Production Crew (Lead & Event Staff)

San Francisco Airport (SFO) Area | Temporary Event Assignment

Are you experienced in luxury weddings, upscale events, or high-end event production? We're seeking 1 experienced Event Lead and 20 professional Event Production Crew Members to support the installation and breakdown of an extraordinary luxury wedding taking place at a premier hotel near the San Francisco International Airport.

This is not a standard event setup position. This production requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in precision, understand the importance of presentation, and can execute under tight timelines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Event Schedule

Wednesday, July 8
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday, July 9
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday, July 10
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 11:45 PM – 5:00 AM (Overnight Breakdown)

Saturday, July 11
• 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 6:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Final Breakdown)

Applicants must be available to work ALL scheduled dates and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install event furnishings, tables, chairs, staging, décor, pipe and drape, and event structures.

• Assist with detailed table installations and decorative elements while following precise client specifications.

• Load, unload, move, organize, and stage event materials safely and efficiently.

• Work collaboratively with vendors and event professionals in a luxury hospitality environment.

• Maintain an organized workspace while adapting quickly to changing priorities.

• Follow direction while working efficiently under strict production deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous luxury wedding, event production, event installation, or upscale hospitality event experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with wedding décor installations, event rentals, pipe and drape, staging, or banquet setups is highly desired.

• Must bring your own power drill/driver and basic hand tools.

• Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds.

• Comfortable working on ladders and performing physically demanding work throughout the day.

• Exceptional attention to detail with pride in producing polished, high-quality work.

• Professional demeanor and appearance while working around clients and vendors.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Must be punctual, dependable, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.

• Cell phone required for crew communication throughout the event.

Dress Code

• All black professional attire

• Closed-toe work shoes or work boots (no open-toe footwear)

Event Lead Responsibilities

In addition to working alongside the crew, the Event Lead will serve as the primary point of contact between our staffing team and the client.

Lead responsibilities include:

• Attend a pre-event walkthrough and logistics meeting with the client.

• Coordinate with event management to ensure production timelines are met.

• Direct and assign staff throughout each shift.

• Monitor productivity, quality, and attention to detail.

• Coordinate breaks and lunches.

• Track attendance, hours worked, and team performance.

• Ensure staff remain on task, prepared, and professional at all times.

• Communicate updates, challenges, and staffing needs with management throughout the event.

• Lead by example while maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude under pressure.
