Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development
2+ years of experience writing or editing in a regulated environment such as healthcare, health plans, insurance, or similar
Must reside in California and be able to work long term as a Sutter Health Plan employee if converted
Ability to occasionally come onsite for in-person team collaboration, Sacramento area preferred
Experience with compliance-driven, member-facing, or stakeholder-facing communications
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, member-friendly communications
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple communication deliverables independently with minimal ramp-up
