The Material Handler plays a crucial role in managing inventory flow, ensuring materials and products are properly received, stored, and distributed within the facility. This position demands attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products safely and accurately
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues
- Store materials in designated areas, maintaining proper organization and cleanliness
- Retrieve and prepare materials for production or shipping as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment following safety protocols
- Assist in cycle counts and regular inventory audits
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
