Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support hands-on bottling and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in basic lab techniques and a strong commitment to quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on production tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, pipetting, labeling, capping, and assembling product kits
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accurately formulate products, including multi-component mixtures
- Verify formulation data such as concentrations, calculations, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Operate and prepare production equipment, including filling lines, labeling systems, and lyophilizers
- Properly store materials according to temperature and handling requirements
- Maintain accurate and complete production records in compliance with GMP/GDP standards
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain workspaces and equipment to ensure a safe and compliant environment
- Perform data entry and provide general support to production operations as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a laboratory, biotech manufacturing, or packaging environment (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with liquid handling and pipetting (required)
- Familiarity with SOPs and working in a regulated or manufacturing setting
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and solution preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated filling or labeling equipment
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, GMP, and GDP practices

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
