Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school setting encouraged
  • Strong commitment to helping diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering therapy to students (average caseload of about 55 students per SLP)
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Collaborating with educational staff to integrate therapy into the school curriculum
  • Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and school district policies
  • Communicating regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
