Job Title: Radiology / Cardiology / CT Technologist

Location: San Pedro, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both CT and X-Ray examinations, delivering exceptional patient care, and producing accurate diagnostic images in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic X-Ray examinations as needed.
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate interpretation.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while maintaining comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanners, radiographic equipment, and associated imaging technology.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and scope of practice.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members.
• Float between CT and X-Ray departments as needed to support patient care operations.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required.
• X-Ray experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS Certification required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• ARRT Advanced Certification (CT) required.
• Fluoroscopy Permit required.

Skills & Qualifications

• CT imaging procedures.
• Diagnostic radiography (X-Ray).
• Patient positioning and image optimization.
• Radiation safety and quality assurance.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
