Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Bike Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic location, you will support daily operations through routine patrols, quick response, and professional interaction with the public and staff, while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public buildings, offices, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to manage the flow of visitors, vendors, and/or staff in accordance with location procedures and posted rules.
• Support a professional presence at the location by observing surroundings, providing directions and assistance, and communicating security-related information to supervisors and/or designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Ride a bike for long periods of time preferred.
• Lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
