Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a school-based OT
  • Strong understanding of elementary student development and educational needs
  • Proficient in evaluations, IEP participation, and development of tailored treatment plans
  • Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and families
  • Effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students in group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and monitor progress toward therapy and educational goals
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills for classroom participation
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and contribute to progress reporting
  • Offer strategies and recommendations for classroom modifications or accommodations
