Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Facilities Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience and a strong HVAC background. The Facilities Technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and assist with general facility repairs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
- Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist with general building upkeep and construction-related projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- HVAC experience is required.
- 0–2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction trades, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Experience performing electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
