Key Responsibilities:
Develop, formulate, reverse engineer and reformulate a wide range of cosmetic
and personal care products including skin care, hair care, bath and body care,
intimate care and pet care.
Knowledge of FDA, cGMP and cosmetic regulations.
Conduct stability testing and ensure formulations meet all regulatory
requirements.
Assist with pilot batches and manufacturing scaling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to
market.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cosmetic science through
supplier relationships, seminars and continuing education.
Mentor junior chemists and technicians.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation.
Strong understanding of raw materials and their interactions.
Proven track record of successful product launches. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with MS Office software. Competitive salary and benefits package.
