Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute an annual, multi-channel sales strategy to deliver aggressive revenue growth targets
- Define clear KPIs, forecasting models, and performance goals across all sales channels
- Build channel segmentation strategies and tailor approaches by customer type, account, and product line
- Identify new market opportunities, categories, and licensing pathways to expand brand reach
Build & Grow Key Retail Partnerships
- Lead relationships with major retail partners and key specialty accounts
- Negotiate high-impact programs and agreements that drive revenue, strengthen partnerships, and improve profitability
- Develop tailored growth strategies for top accounts and ensure strong execution across in-store and digital channels
- Conduct regular engagement with key accounts and field sales teams to strengthen relationships and drive performance
Lead a High-Performing Sales Organization
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Account Managers, and Sales Support
- Establish strong operating rhythms including weekly alignment, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Drive Insight-Backed Decision Making
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, pricing, and competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Translate data into actionable insights and present recommendations to executive leadership
- Set annual and quarterly targets for wholesale and key account channels
Partner Cross-Functionally to Win in Market
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop impactful, account-specific campaigns and trade programs
- Partner with Product Development to align assortment strategy with market demand and provide feedback on new product direction
- Work with Operations to ensure seamless execution of wholesale orders and launches
- Support successful go-to-market execution for new product introductions and expansion initiatives
Influence at the Executive Level
- Own visibility into wholesale performance and provide strategic updates to executive leadership
- Contribute to annual planning, revenue forecasting, and budget development
- Develop incentive and performance programs that motivate and align the sales organization
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to type 60 words per minute.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Juvenile industry experience will be a plus
