Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise for goal development and reporting
- Offer professional insights and resources to staff and caregivers in support of student needs
