Job DescriptionLooking for someone who would like a career in eyecare in Laguna Beach. We are an Upscale, community-oriented, technologically advanced optometric practice seeking an OPTICIAN or OPTHALMIC TECHNICIAN to join our practice.

We are currently seeking an outgoing personality who enjoys providing quality patient care and fashion optical sales to our patients. The position is full time with some flexibility. Candidate must be available to work some Saturdays. Experience in the optometric or opthalmic field is preferred. We will entertain an entry level position for the right candidate.

The position requires high level customer service, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and skilled efficiency with computer software. This position will focus on back office patient care, front desk work, and some optical sales.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to, patient testing (Optos, Optovue, visual fields, etc.), patient check-in, phone answering/calling, scanning of documents, insurance authorizations, office cleaning/organization, optical sales, orders and dispensing, contact lens trainings and orders, and Crystal PM EHR utilization.

Our staff does crosstrain with emphasis in various departments for each individual.

Our opticians work as a team-- all are involved in optical sales in addition to patient care, exam testing, front office work, and maintain office cleanliness and organization. We are a technology driven practice in eyecare, eyewear and examinations.

Comfort and efficiency with technology is mandatory. We will train the right person.
