• Serve as the first point of contact for City Hall — greeting visitors and representing the city in a professional, polished manner.
• Interact directly with the City Manager, Mayor, and City Council; stay familiar with key city figures and officials.
• Assist residents with routine needs, including water bill payments and general inquiries.
• Answer phones professionally and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
• Process payments via cash, credit card, and check; maintain and balance a cash drawer.
• Verify check validity as part of the payment process.
• Multitask across front-desk duties in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
Qualification:
• Professional, polished demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable and confident interacting with city leadership and the public.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to write professional emails.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable, though not required.
