Location
Hiring in Newport Beach, CA, Sacramento, CA, and Pleasant Hill, CA. This position begins primarily in-office to support onboarding and collaboration. After your first 90 days, attorneys in good standing are eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Note
Candidates must have an active California Bar license and at least 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Personal injury litigation experience is required or strongly preferred. Candidates who do not meet these minimum qualifications will not be considered.

Job Description
- Manage an active civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution.
- Handle personal injury and construction defect matters with increasing responsibility and independence.
- Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
- Prepare and argue motions, including demurrers, motions for summary judgment, and other law and motion matters.
- Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and other litigation proceedings.
- Communicate directly with clients to provide case updates, strategic guidance, and exceptional service.
- Develop litigation strategies while managing deadlines and case progression.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff across the firm's Newport Beach, Sacramento, and Pleasant Hill offices to achieve successful client outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Personal injury litigation experience required or strongly preferred.
- Construction defect litigation experience preferred.
- Experience handling written discovery, depositions, court appearances, and law and motion.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple active litigation matters.
