Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possess current licensure and credentials to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong skills in speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Desire to foster positive student outcomes in a supportive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child's unique needs
- Conduct assessments to identify communication challenges and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document and report student progress according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development opportunities
