Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Possess current licensure and credentials to practice as an SLP in a school setting
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong skills in speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Desire to foster positive student outcomes in a supportive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication challenges and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document and report student progress according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development opportunities
  • Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school culture focused on student growth
