Voltu Motor Inc. is offering a 5-week, hands-on Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Program designed to develop real-world technical skills in EV systems, manufacturing, and assembly.
This program is unpaid and serves as a screening process for future employment opportunities with Voltu. Top-performing participants may be considered for full-time technician roles.
You will gain direct experience working with advanced EV technology in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
Program Details
- Duration: 5 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Location: Riverside, CA (Voltu Motor Facility)
- Compensation: Unpaid training program
- Outcome: Potential employment opportunity upon successful completion
What You’ll Learn
Participants will receive hands-on training in:
- EV battery systems assembly and safety
- Wire harness manufacturing and routing
- Electronic/PCB handling and basic testing
- Mechanical assembly and workshop operations
- Quality control and inspection processes
- Manufacturing best practices (5S, TQM)
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:
- Are interested in building a career in electric vehicles or manufacturing
- Have hands-on aptitude (mechanical, electrical, or technical experience preferred)
- Are reliable, punctual, and disciplined
- Take initiative and work with a strong sense of ownership
- Are comfortable in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Preferred (not required):
- Welding, mechanical, or electrical experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or technical fields
Important Expectations
- This is a hands-on, physically active program inside a manufacturing facility
- Strict adherence to safety rules and professional conduct is required
