As the Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will safely and effectively perform various warehouse functions, including but not limited to pulling, picking, packing, and staging outbound orders. You will also assist with storing incoming inventory and performing proper loading and unloading of containers and trucks for inbound and outbound orders.
Pay: $19.47 and after the 30-day probation will be increased to $21.20.
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Responsible for pulling, picking, packing, and staging outbound orders.
· Ensure that orders are verified during the pulling and picking process.
· Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
· Assist with outbound orders, including gathering all required documents.
· Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and safety-related training programs.
· Understand and communicate all hazards and safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
· Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Frequently lift, push, and slide packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and loading areas.
Competencies / Personal Characteristics
· Good written and verbal communication skills; preferred but not required ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
· Able to understand all documents pertaining to an order such as Pick Orders, Delivery Notes, and Bills of Lading.
· Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
· Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
· Takes initiative and able to work with all levels of supervision, department leads, and staff.
· Demonstrates commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
· Punctual, reliable, and flexible with work hours, overtime, and some Saturdays.
· Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Basic computer skills; familiarity with scanners, tablets, and radios.
