Job DescriptionJob Overview:
Pay Range: $25hr - $30hr
- The Theater Technician is responsible for supporting theatrical productions through technical expertise in stage operations, lighting, sound, and rigging.
- This role involves performing skilled technical tasks, assisting in stage setup, and ensuring smooth execution of events, rehearsals, and performances.
- The technician will collaborate with production teams and support a professional and educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical tasks related to theatrical sound, lighting, rigging, and stage management.
- Handle and troubleshoot technical issues during events and performances.
- Set up stage, including installation of scenic elements and preparation of performance areas.
- Install and operate audio and lighting equipment.
- Supervise and manage stage equipment and technical operations.
- Support load-in and load-out activities for productions.
- Work as part of the production crew for rehearsals, performances, and events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless production execution.
- Support and maintain a positive and professional environment for students and staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Should Have:
- Experience in stage management, lighting design, or sound design.
- Ability to work in multiple areas such as lighting, audio, or stage operations.
- Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.

Qualification And Education:
- Relevant experience in theater production, stage technology, or related field.
