Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6 months
Payrate: $21-$25/hr on W2
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Shift: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Start time 7am – 9am.
100% onsite
On-site interview

- Must be able to lift or push 50 pounds safely.
- Must be willing to work with biohazardous substances and bleach.
- The Lab Assistant will be supporting the entire QC San Diego department with procurement, cleaning, and maintenance.
- The Lab Assistant will be responsible for maintaining QC Laboratories in a state of compliance. He/she will work independently across several laboratories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining QC consumables inventory for stockroom.
- Maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory, stocking shelves/drawers with supplies as needed.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, calibrating, or submitting items for calibration as needed.
- Completing training in a timely manner and maintaining records.
- Perform QC sample pickup from Quality Inspection or Manufacturing and accurate transactions.
- Glass washing, dishwashing, and tube rack washing.
- Prepare documents for storage in our document management system and may manage original data files.
- Cycle Count of QC materials.
- Regular maintenance of sample water baths, incubators, refrigerators, freezers.
- Monthly maintenance of automated system instrumentation.
- May train on QC test methods to support QC testing as needed.
- May assist with other activities as required to support QC teams.
- May train on QC test methods to support QC testing as needed.
- Experience with LIMS and data entry a plus.
- Has good understanding and past demonstration of Good Documentation Practices such as logbooks in a GMP environment.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties independently and diligently. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Intermediate computer skills. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and ease of use of Outlook, Excel, Word.
Education:
- High School Diploma minimum.
