We are looking for a CNC Machinist / Haas Programmer / Mill and Lathe setup.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
Programming: Write, load, or edit code (like G-code) to instruct the machine on paths, speeds, and feeds
Haas Programming/Operation: Proficiency with Haas controls
Machine Setup: Calibrate machines by installing chucks, fixtures, and cutting tools. Set zero points and establish offsets
Technical Analysis: Reading prints, understanding tolerances, material properties, and selecting appropriate tooling/fixturing.
Operation: Load raw materials, run test pieces, and continuously monitor the CNC mill or lathe during production
Cost Estimation: Calculating material costs, machine setup time, cycle time, labor, and overhead.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
Manufacturability Assessment: Identifying potential issues in designs that could increase costs or make parts impossible to machine.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine upkeep, replace dull tools, and keep work areas compliant with safety guidelines
Customer Interaction: Communicating with clients, explaining quotes, and potentially handling digital RFQ processes.
Programs and operates Haas CNC Mills and Lathes to create precision parts from blueprints, requiring skills in blueprint reading, machine setup, tool offsets, and quality control.
