Job DescriptionNPI Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and driven NPI Manufacturing Engineer to lead the introduction of new electrical products into production. This role focuses on building, testing, and validating harnesses and electrical assemblies while developing efficient, scalable manufacturing processes in the aerospace and defense industry.

Key Responsibilities
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation of electrical harnesses and components
Develop and improve manufacturing processes with DFM and Lean principles
Lead new product introduction and manufacturing line transfer activities
Create and maintain work instructions and standardized processes
Design fixtures and recommend tooling/equipment for assembly
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales
Support failure analysis and material characterization
Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

Requirements
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, or process engineering
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and ISO standards
Experience creating work instructions and process documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Haves
Experience with electrical harnesses or assemblies
Knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality systems
Experience with semi-automated manufacturing equipment
Background in Lean Manufacturing, 5S

Salary Range $100k - $110k Depending on experience
Location & Work Setup Onsite | Monday–Friday | Standard business hours
Location near Huntington Beach
