Job Description
- Adult men's correctional facility in Corcoran, California with moderate acuity patients including substance disorders and justice involvement.
Details
- Needs are ASAP
- Full time in-person Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri 7a-5p for at least six months.
- Alternative Full-time in-person Mon-Fri 8a-4p for at least six months.
- Call is a possibility for extra hours
- Flexible time for patient visits
- Client does use CERNER E.H.R. so familiarity with that will be needed
- Up to forty hours of orientation may be required
- BC/BE in psychiatry is required
- At least 12 months experience in adult psychiatry in the last 3 years
- Active CA medical license is required
- Active DEA in CA is required
- BLS certification is required
- Medical malpractice insurance is required
- For this forensic facility
- The patients are forensic patients.
- According to the contract the name of the state facility may not be advertised.
- A criminal background check is required
- Drug test is required
- A CALPERS affidavit will be required
- Current state employees are not eligible.
