Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
- Ensure production quality standards are met by conducting regular inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Ability to operate manual machines (e.g. lathe, turret, threaders, saw, grinders).
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
