Job DescriptionJob Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician IILocation: Sacramento, CAPay: $22.00 - $26.00/hourSchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician I to join a growing property management team in Sacramento. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who takes pride in keeping residential communities safe, clean, and fully operational.Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct unit turns, including painting, patching, and general repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and property inspections
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements
- Valid California Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
