Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT/LVN) | Vallejo, CA (Night Shift)
Support patients on their path toward healing and recovery in a compassionate behavioral health environment. We’re seeking a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT/LVN) to join a psychiatric care team in Vallejo, CA, providing exceptional care to children, adolescents, and adults.
What You’ll Do:

Deliver direct and indirect psychiatric patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)

Monitor patient behaviors, psychiatric symptoms, vital signs, and overall condition

Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patient safety and recovery

Administer medications and document patient responses according to physician orders

Assist with admissions, discharges, patient orientations, and therapeutic activities

Support patient education related to safety, coping skills, hygiene, and treatment plans

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
What You’ll Bring:

Current LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license required

BLS certification required
-
CPI or TEAM certification required

Behavioral health, psychiatric, or acute care experience preferred

Strong communication, observation, and crisis intervention skills
-
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in a fast-paced setting
